Pigment... George Raftopoulos
As I get older I seem to enjoy shooting more & more still life. George Raftopoulos is an Australian artist www.georgeraftopoulos.com, he's been someone I've known for around 5 years and recently I ask him for a selection of his old oil paint tubes, brushes and bits & bobs he works with, when creating his work. Here is a selection of my favourites shot so far.
I just love all the textures in each piece and how each tube or brush tells it's own story. I'm looking to exhibit a selection of these next year, along with selection of other artist's pieces...

Trip down memory lane...
Today is my 3rd wedding anniversary, time has flown and a lot has happened. I've decided to upload our wedding invites, which I shot of our wonderful dog Monty 'Dalglish'.. Since we got him from a rescue home he has been our son (human like).. Friends asked if Monty was to attend the wedding? I would have loved that but we decided no.. So the invite became his way of being there, in some sense I suppose.. Each shot depicts a section of the day, the arrival, the ceremony and the reception.. What a legend Monty is...
